Undo the nerfs and maybe you'll get your donations back! I say that because I am a gold donater and it really sucks that my 23 WAR with his starfall sucks at life now even with some good armor because he cant equip his starfall, and that is retarded, I would NEVER have spent that kind of time getting my guild to help me with it etc, the weapon nerfs are retarded and make me consider cancelling my gold donater status out of spite as I'm sure others have thats just my 2cp
 
I'm not even sure really where to begain here. However what you're trying to say is that you're upset at how things've been changed around and are withholding your donations because things've changed around on you? I hate to say it but trying to threaten people, especially here, isn't the best of ways of getting what you want done. In fact most likely you'll either end up ignored or told, in no uncertaint language, that no the guys in charge will not bow down to your demands(or possibly worse depending on if this is your first time or not pulling this stunt). Granted I can't be absolutely sure of their response, but I can pretty much garentee that demanding undoing of a 'nerf' is the best way of shooting yourself in the foot.


Perhaps if you'd be a little more discriptive and or polite about it people might decide to listen. As is though why should anybody care?

I made an Edit to elaborate on what I said, and it is a "Nerf", and its not a threat, its just the way I feel, I felt like sharing the way I feel, because Wiz said something about a flurry of donation cancels and thats just what I see, because the content is getting better but these nerfs and then Re-nerfs for example, my step-dad has some fire 2hs that he bought but can no longer equip, our house has 3 gold donaters, he hardly plays but when he does its to group with my mom who is a lot higher then him and is able to help him out with gear etc, I think that if nothing else QUEST weapons should have no level req's the EQ engine has ways to deal with twinks, you can have a 10 delay 20 damage weapon at lvl 1 you just arent going to hit much, they are NERF's and thats the way I feel. thats my 2sp
 
Please take in mind that starfalls were never ment to be done by low level 20's toons! Starfalls are ment for chars around the 35th levelrange.

So why is it Questable by a low level 20? arent there ways to prevent that from happening rather then me wasting 7 hours of my life getting it?
 
You've wasted all '7 hours' countless times while playing this game anyways.

You won't get anywhere with your kind of attitude. You might as well give up now because you're just getting heated up over something completely trivial. You found a workaround something, and they fixed that workaround. Either deal with it, reroll, or give up now.

With no warning? I wont quit my WAR, he just makes me sad now, it would have been nice to get a warning, i wont cancel my donator status either, Its just so annoying :mad: and I'm simply offering a possible cause of the cancel's

True, no one has to donate either. Look, the nerfs anger me, I have a druid I love very much and so its not THAT big of a deal, its a SUGGESTION, comment, thought, concern. its the way I FEEL.
 
When you suggest things, I'd recommend being calm, collected, and not so hostile about it. You'll get better results.
 
Just spend some time leveling and you'll be able to use your starfall in a couple of days. /shrug
Leveling is so fast, req. levels arent that big of a deal.

Going from a 29/20 Weap to a MQ 2hs, it sucks, like... alot if i'd known I would have used 1hs or 1hb on my way up, a 20 cleric can out dps me at the moment, kinda takes the fun out of playing him if i have to Chainheal with my druid and keep him buffed and the thorns are doing more damage then his weapon
 
You could not attain that weapon without higher level help at level 20. Using your donator status as leverage is probably the most annoying thing you can do to us, btw.
 
This game isnt for Solo i believe, a group of 20'sh could pwn Gargs, and all you need to do is hang around the meliechA for the hilt, its possible to get it solo like, if you dont believe me tell me to try, and I'll do it, as far as my donater status, its gonna stay gold, maybe plat pocket-plane sounds fun, I was simply offering a reason that might get some of the ppl who cancels donations back

A level 30 mage can hardly take out Gargs.
Show me a level 20 group, unbuffed, untwinked that can do that.
They are great exp from lvl 30-40 fyi so impossible to do them by a level 20 group.

Don't whine around, go and level your war to use your Starfall again.
 
Lets not forget the relatively short amount of time it should take you to reach the required level of the weapon. You will be wielding it before too long.

Ignoring the fact that using donator status as leverage is completely insulting and infuriating to the staff, including that maybe in there... they'd be foolish to accept your one-sided ultimatum.
 
The best part about this one is the lack of the completely empty threat.

Normally, this kind of post includes a reference to leaving, quiting, or playing something else. Everyone knows this is false. If you could even remotely tolerate any other game, they would have just left and said nothing. But everyone here knows the absolute best that you can say about any other game out there is that, "You don't TOTALLY hate it for about a month..."

He comes right out and says, "Oh yeah, I'm going to keep playing."

Even though all his other errors put him way into a negative score, you have to give him a few points for that.



Just as a public service message for all others who will repeat these mistakes...

Wiz is not Smedley. He isn't going to stab an old lady for a quarter.

Relative to what? Relative to his total playtime?

How much time would it take to get to L 20. How much time to L 30?

I'm guessing, as much time to get to L 30 as get to L 20.

So, relative to his playtime, getting to L 30 is pretty far away.

Relative to other people playing, it is not all that far away at all.
