I too am tired of eatting shitty xp for the sake of convenience when I don't feel / can't group. For this reason, I went to Mielech's last night, and this is what I found.
Monk / shaman duo. both wanelos are in my sig. Monk has ~3khp unbuffed CA3, shaman has about 3900mana, 3FT and MC3. I had relic aego, and KEI.
I didn't find any mob that wasn't dark blue. Frogs went down fast, gave about 1-1.5% xp to a 2 person group. Golem fights lasted considerably longer, and tended to leave me around 60 mana at the end, while canniing heavily. Golems gave 2-2.5% per kill, in a 2 person group.
It was easy quick xp. Problems started to arise, however, when I got to what was Disco (I think) on live. Things started off with a 3 pull. Split them up with root ring, tagged with shaman to torpor tank until I could stand the monk up. But two came.. Then the third came when root wore off. I assume they were aggro linked, but I didn't get a chance to really test that. They were simple to Root CC, although problems would likely have arisen had one of them been a caster.
Those mobs aside, I moved deeper into Disco. Next pull was a clean single, no adds to split off. Then I got to a golem on an altar-like area, with two guardians beside him. Pulling the golem, or either of the guardians resulted in a sorcerer add. I did manage to get one guardian single, but it wasn't easy. I managed the golem after, but had to /q after pull aggro wouldn't reset, and shaman had to gate out.
At this point, I think it would be impossible for a group without a good monk or REALLY good chanter to get decent XP in this area of Mielech's.
I'd suggest lowering the aggro ranges of mobs down there, and rethinking some of the linking. I also haven't seen much of the zone. I'll go back there tonight, and try another area.
