Lost Augmentation

I removed a fine quality lining from an item usiing the Aug box and acidic solution. Message said that it was removed successfully. The lining did not show up in my inventory. This may be because I had no open inventory slots. My packs were not full though.

Is it possible to get the fine quality lining replaced?

Thanks Rabb for the quick reply. If any one knows how the edit the wiki, in the section about augments it says they can be removed and reused.

I just had the thought tho..... maybe it means you can reuse the item with a different augment.
 
Quested augments are not destroyed though, IIRC! (as in the MQ augments, dont know of any other quested ones)
 
This is what it says, maybe someone could make the change on wiki.

To remove augmentations, ie if you are upgrading or selling your item and wish to keep the augmentation, you need to buy an acidic solution from a vendor in SNP. Then simply place the solution and the item in the kit and combine.
 
You can change it on the Wiki!!

The wiki is updated and maintained by normal people like you and me. If you see something that should be corrected, feel free to click the edit button and fix it!
