Can anyone help me here?

I keep getting disconnected.

My internet is fine, downloading at max of it, uploading at max of it.

Those, http://phao.50webs.com/dbg.html, are the last 6400 lines of dbg.txt in the time I'm posting this msg.

How can I fix that?

What are your computer specs? Has this always happened to you? Or did this start suddenly after being able to play before?
My girlfriend was disconnecting everytime she zoned, died, gated and for three weeks I tried to find an answer. Everyone on these boards helped as much as they could but unfortunately there was no solution. I had to go out and buy a new computer for her and now it works fine.

Go check out my thread, it is only a few down on the list, it is named "Game running horrible". That should give you a few things to try until someone smarter than me can come help you.

But, I think with this game, there are just some computers that do not cooperate.

I'm almost sure it's a server side issue, because when the server is "empty", i almost do not got disconnected.

You aren't connecting to world

My internet is fine, downloading at max of it, uploading at max of it.

If im reading this right, you are using all your available bandwidth, and trying to squeeze something else in, and wondering why there are issues. Since you didn't bother posting things like firewalls, hardware setup, etc, I'd recommend checking the other threads in this forum and trying whats there.

Keep in mind a "server side issue" would affect everyone, not just one or two people.

could also depend on what times you play. im sure going LD is a little more common during "prime times" and a bigger server population. However, it could also be something to do with your connection. From your previous comment, I read it as you have some kinda program downloading at max capacity, uploading at max capacity (something like uTorrent) and also trying to run SoD. SoD + anything else, usually means bad joo joo for your connection.

It's not just me.

I've seen some other people with that problem.

Firewall is turned off
I have no anti-virus

Is there any "easy" way to get hardware information to post here?

I said internet is fine I CAN download/upload at 100% of it.

When playing eq on SOD i turn off everything, I re-start my computer and start EQ. There is no additional service (except my video-card driver one) being started as well. No software in the startup list, except eqplaynice.

So when I start my computer, beside microsoft windows stuff, just eqplyanice and my video-card driver is started.

There is no bandwidth limit on my ISP account.

What about getting information from hardware configuration ? I don't know where to get that.

try playing without the EQPlaynice app running, just straight SoD. might help. i've heard a few people say that it helps them to turn it off.

Well ok. But i've started using eqplaynice hoping it'd solve the problem, but i've turned it off.

you started off without EQPlaynice? hmm... im not sure then. thats usually all it took to solve the simple problems

Is what you said. What you meant was

"My internet is fine, I can download at max of it, and upload at max of it."

So don't correct my interpretation of what you SAID with what you MEANT.

"Some other people" is a few. A "Server Side Issue" (such as when world is down) affects everyone. This isnt. Which makes it unlikely a "server side issue".

Hardware info: Start, Run, type 'dxdiag' (without quotes) hit enter, wait, hit "Save All information" button, save text file, open text file, copy, paste.

By "firewall is turned off" I assume you mean windows firewall.. Do you go through a router which has one, or straight connection from computer to modem.

You also didnt mention your character names. Have they been nameflagged, and are you getting booted every two minutes for ignoring the big warning message when you log in? Is it only when you zone, die, etc?

This is all useful information which makes things easier when provided, instead of having to dig for it bit by bit.

Name: Lien (it's not flagged as far as I know)

I have a router here, but i've already tried without it (same thing) (don't know if router firewall is turned off)

And yes windows firewall is turned off

http://phao.50webs.com/DxDiag.html this is the saved info from the command you said to me to type

I've got disconnected irregularly, I mean, there is no fixed intervall (and it's much bigger than 2 min, something like 10-20 min, sometimes bigger).
Sometimes while zoning I also get disconnected.
I also get disconnected when dieing.

About:
"My internet is fine, I can download at max of it, and upload at max of it."

I just though it was obvious I meant that I CAN do that, not that I was doing while playing.

And, a server side issue can affect just a few people.

The server can be programmed.

I've played in a Ultima Online server that the admins blocked people from brazil (i'm from brazil), so it was a server side issue acting just on me.

But this was just an example, i'm not saying that this is what is happening to me here.

well in that case, its not a server side issue. Its admin intervention, banning you for a reason. a server side issue is something you cant really control and affects more than "a few people"

A server side issue is any issue happening in the server.

That one may not be considered an issue because it's not a problem for them (in fact it's a solution hehehehe), it was done intentionally, but some not well done configurations, made by admins, can let to some problems that affects just a few people. Believe in me, it's more common than you think it is, I'm not a server admin, but I talk to lots of them.

=============

I did the test, 13 times (i've counted it hehe), the avarage was 276kbits/sec as download speed, upload speed is somewhere around 120kbits/sec.

Which is what my ISP is offering me. It seems that everything is OK.

=============

Any other information I can post here to help you guys?

I didn't need your upload and download speed (although those are extremely low), I wanted the QoS %s, which are listed right below the big shiny graphics.
