Is pacifying to move past a mob Content skipping?

You can actually just hug the wall past those mobs, no paci required. Atleast for an Iksar/Undead Frog.

IIRC no mob in IP is meant to be skipped. This is Wiz-Stance on prison.

Unless you're dropping through the pit into Farg room :psyduck:

Just in case anybody missed it, I am going on the record here to state that this is, in fact, the case. Unless the mobs are inside rooms, you must kill the mobs to get past them. This is true regardless of whether the mobs can be "avoided", "pacified", "trained away", "Headwalked", etc.

Next time I find this I'm going to jail some guild and/or raid leaders!

Next time you summon 1 of my guildies and falsely accuse anyoen please get your facts straight first.
When we did Yashira we killed every trash mob. That later that night after we already left, some mob repopped is no reason to "warn" us. We even killed all those avoidable by huggin a wall mobs.

Thank you very much.

It's not as bad as Ratty makes it sound , I just didn't know that we [didn't have to kill] the mob Allie showed me. In fact it repopped after we went there.
We were already aware about no more skipping anything.

Edited misphrased text

I seriously doubt that a GM would go to IP (on his own initiative) to check about spawns if not someone told them that people are exploiting or something like that. We DEFINATELY cleared all the way to the named yesterday, killing mobs that other guilds bypass usually. Its not our fault that 2 trash didnt repop by the time we killed the named.

Blame the silly new spawn rules that are supposed to help non Euro Players, and make the mobs all repop at the same time, if you want them all to be killed in 1 run.

Whoever reported this crap needs to get a life. And by get a life i mean fuck off

If you've got an issue with the way any GM (including myself) has handled an in game problem the proper protocol is to speak to them in private channels, not discuss it in the public forums.

Regardless, glad we had the change to make sure everybody's on the same page. =)
