A long time ago Zaela had the idea of making a tome affect our Illusions to give abilities and things to others after you cast a certain illusion on them. I believe she scrapped that idea and didn't divulge very much information to me, but it could be considered again for our Pet.
It could be done similar to how Mage Runic2 works. You cast "Illusory Sleight" on your pet, which is a completely new buff, but it doesn't do anything other than it has to be cast on the pet for the illusion thing to work. Then whatever Illusion you cast on your Animation it will give new benefits.
Ogre: +1000hp, +500ac.
Troll: +insane hitpoint regen
Taldorian: Add weapon proc: Cascading Vim
Wood Elf: Perma Feared, runs to the nearest corner to hide.
etc etc. Obviously these are dumb/over powered but you get the idea.

Enchanter 3rd Tome
Creates a stance for Enchanter that drains stamina/mana and increases the DPS of the Animation pet. After 4th tome is complete, would triple or quadruple the Animations damage output for the duration of your stance.
For some random numbers: With 3 codex and comp str 7, after fully buffed/haste/blade of power/, my animation does something around 40-50dps on most raid bosses. After 2 more codex, comp str8, and maybe a few other tomes like the Iki tomes, he could maybe ramp up to 75dps or maybe a bit more. After completely 4 class tomes, and while the stance is engaged, he could top out at around 300ish dps, give or take some numbers there.

Blink is a really cool idea, maybe up the recast a bit and keep it at a smaller range so it doesnt hit tanks
I wasn't thinking it would hit the players, rather it would hit the mobs. The idea of Illusory Sleight in the first place was it would give that quick rune on someone, then once the mobs broke through that rune, it would Concuss the mob and drop the aggro. It didn't work for whatever reasons. This would just be an AE stun just like Color Flux does, but instead of stunning, it drops X amount of aggro on whoever he is beating on or whatever. So the Guy charges your cleric/druid/You and you are standing there so you click your Button and then the mob forgets about who he was just beating on and runs back to a tank or someone with more aggro etc.
Considering 'mem blur' doesn't work on SOD like it did on live, we are one of the few classes, surprisingly, without some way of dropping any aggro ie FD/Concuss/etc.

Anyway, more ideas the better. I really like My Dude and he is fun to play now having completed True Giant. I can be lazy in xp groups and just gog/aod, or I just gog myself and melee and do decent-ish dps and it is still quite fun, or I can legitimately duo without the normal charm/dot/root/snooze method.
Basically I am completely out-of-touch with what "Enchanters" really want or need anymore so all of my ideas are "how can we do more dps!!!!"
