Idea of a bard ability

This is just an idea that came to my mind.

I wondered if it is possible to remove Pickpockets from bards and add an alternate singing abillity to them.
This ability would enable them to perform in special places (Taverns, casinos).
Depending on Skill Level, Level of the player, Dex/Cha and faction this may grant minor money and maybe a little faction boost for a short time.
The other way round, when the bard is screwing his performance he may loose minor money as well as a faction loss for a short time and maybe a few points Charisma less.

This would maybe fit bards better from the RP aspect and may be a lot of fun just to try out what you can do with your skills and what not.

I want to hear your opinion about that and if it is possible to do/if you may do that or maybe do later.

I ***THINK*** that because it is a shared skill, if you changed it on bards you would have to change it on rogues too.... unless you messed with the client.

Nope, I dont have it, and it's not available to train at my local guildhall. Bards (or perhaps just Half Elven bards) don't get pickpocket on SoD.

I didn't know they got it on Live.

I don't know if the difference is an intentional one or not, but I'd love to see it here .

It hasn't been to long for me - but yes I do indeed remember training Pick Pocket and Find traps and Disarm traps on my bard on Everquest

Bards on live do get Sense traps and Disarm traps but have never in my experience got pickpocket...

Yes, bards can picklock... not not as well as rogues. Their skill was pretty weak.

We were talking about Pick Pockets, I think I mixed it up with Pick Locks.
