I recently attained the weapon in the title, and was wondering if the dmg / dly ratio could be examined. When compared to a few monk items from different tiers, it seems a bit under powered.
I couldn't attain a pic of the Crimson Fistwrap of Wrecking at the time of this post, but will get one later for comparison. But currently, a weapon dropping from a lower tiered zone, a mob doable by 14 people (or less), drops a better weapon than a mob done with 18, which must be more competent, pay more attention, and have overall better equipment.
Another item which I wonder at, is the Crimson Fistwrap of Wrecking. It drops in NDHK, a very easy zone at this point, but when faction bound, has the same ratio. Again, do not have a picture of the faction bound item at the time of this post.
If there's any explanation, please let me know. This weapon is just slightly better than the Wildstrike Baton, off of a much much much much easier mob, and that proc is unresistable, and the Baton has more stats that are monk friendly.
Also, while looking at the item, the weight is not so much of a problem but may consider a review? Monks currently lack a nice 1handed weapon after the Needle-Fist from Gibber. I know PoW has a 1hb, which I believe has the same stats as this (14/19, correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't spent much time in there, just remember it being linked on the wiki), and of course that weapon is also as undesirable as this, due to the ease that Gibber can be downed, and the relative niceness of the Wildstrike Baton and Crimson Fist.
Any feedback as to why the item has the current stats are welcome, I merely hope that this item can be raised to be more in-line with the risk of the encounter. I forgot to mention that the encounter is in Sepulcher, off of a duo of mobs that require two well equipped tanks, and essentially six well equipped healers. Unlike Gibber, and of course Cilz (it's been so long, I believe she drops the Fistwrap).
