Forum Skin Competition/Request

Mixed feelings on the new skin. The theme does seem to be alright but I get a little bit of a "busy" feeling for a forum skin. It might be the high detail on the borders ect, then again it might just take some adjusting. Will haev to see what I feel in a week or so.
 
It looks nice but was just a cut and paste job save for 2 easily edited images....
Is that really worth the fame?
 
Wait, this is the skin we are keeping? I guess I misread Woldaff's posts earlier. I thought this was a temporary one to tide us over until the winner was chosen. It seems pretty bland to me, but whatever.

Yeah, I like this skin and all, but, black pages (especially with graphics) just scream "I'm not working!!" Would like some sort of less-blatantly fun skin that I could use at work. At least make it look like I'm browsing some "terrible" tech support website or something.

I completely agree... I think it has something to do with the small font and lack of colors - same greyish hint for EVERYTHING, how bland.
 
Look, this isn't the Forum skin critics guild here. The point is clearly made that ther eis a demand for a basic default work friendly theme.

Also, we are still waiting on all of the submissions to fix their technical issues. If you don't like the options feel free to submit one of your own.

i work at marketing of american express... you will never see anyone browsing a black website, unless they are not working!

I didn't submit one because I didn't want to recreate all the files from scratch creating an original work

If you want, I can just google and find something better if I can plagiarize and get fame

Oh come on. If everyone in this world worked 100% while they were at work... chances are we would be hundreds years more advanced then we are today! :dance:

Being work friendly for me really does not matter a whole lot. Heck I have a huge starcraft2 wallpaper as my background. Take that work! :toot:

Sounds good. It would be more productive than anything else you have posted in this thread so far.
 
I have added my very own completely done by ME style for those who want to browse at work!

It is very discreet.
