Farhag wing / UT Wings.

time should not be factored in because there is a multitude of bosses/amount of time clearing. it is more than fair, too fair tbh.

I disagree we don't' need farhags, but we have to kill them and watch crap rot just to do the well. So if I have to spend another hours killing worthless crap would piss me off. so if they are going to beef up farhags fine. than let us do the well with farhags up, No other wings are like that.

hes probably one of the people that got invited to a few pugs to score shit he wouldnt have a chance to with his guild. there there banji, dont get too upset, your friend JD is there to save you

Yep, that's pretty much it.

He used to suck people balls to get into pugs and now that he's decently geared up he's a douche.

Yeah well I agree with buffing farfags up... but if the clear is gonna take 4-5 hours, wouldn't it be better to put Well on another Wing ?

being "required" to kill all of the farhags before you can enter the eternal well is retarded. why would there even be a port to the back of the well if you aren't supposed to be able to bypass them if you so choose.

Red sun only summons you in a small select area before high chieftain, I am pretty sure someone told me it was the result of people skipping redsun. Again I have no clue why we are talking about time, I mean maybe if we give every trash mob a million hp plus which would be the most awful thing to do ever possible.

I mean it in the sense of content if that's what you're refering too. As in, your guild has to have downed them in order to even do the well. I think if you have done them, and some are up, skipping them shoudln't really be an issue.

about 4 hrs is what the clear usually took us when we were breaking into that content so imo thats fine for 5 nameds in 1 wing

If spawn time was halved and loot was halved (decent idea), then going to kill the Well would be really annoying if Farhag loot was rotting. You would almost certainly have to clear all of the Farhags to even get in to the well. Clearing trash + 5 nameds for rots is pretty lame.

Also, Ferdolen is probably a tier 6? fight at the most. If you have a decent tank (and which guild these days doesn't), then Ferdolen is laughable. If any guild thinks this is about high tiered guilds wanting to screw lower tiered guilds, its not. I for one love how easy Ferdolen is and often go kill him cause you need like half a raid, but its not right.

I dont really like the idea to Halve the named loot table, just make it a bit harder will help.
Not fair with guilds in progress to get the loots halved.

Or just take out Ferdolen and Perildec, problem solved. The other 3 nameds are still good enough to make Farhags desirable.

How can anyone actually suggest removing raid content entirely, especially at the most competitive tier level? This isn't the loltrollingHURRR forum.

Then come up with a better solution. As it stands, 5 nameds + 1 encounter in 1 wing is a lot don't you think? That's like 3 other wings in ToT combined. Reducing it to 3 nameds + 1 encounter solves the problem.

Not every mob is meant to be a challenge honestly. Back when I first started doing ToT, a certain mob in that wing was considered a 'gatekeeper' for the loot dispenser it blocked. If I remember correctly, and I very well may not (its been over a year I think) the difficulty alternated more or less between easy and hard with one in there being a fucking giant pain in the ass and a couple having the potential to be so as well.

I see a lot of "this shit is easy" floating around and in some cases its applicable but in others its simply due to outgearing shit or having a workable strat that you either learned or was handed to you. Expecting everything to be hard AFTER figuring out a strat is silly. Some encounters should remain difficult but hardly all and not even most.

Removing any of the easier mobs is fucking stupid, pull your heads from your asses.

Pair up the hard ones with an easier one for spawn timers so the pop together even if killed apart...or something.

Pretty much this, in fact exactly this.

Also getting shitloads of fire resists on all the ToT loot you've gotten up to that point certainly doesn't hurt taking an ae without flinching.

While this may be the case (and I agree with it entirely) I still think the 2 issues brought up should be addressed, because in my eyes, as well as some others, it seems like content skipping.

In thaz, Xeldon said you arn't supposed to be able to kill the named if the mini is up, sound great to me if that gets fixed.

In Farhag wing, I really just think a system of flagging should be added so that you can't just enjoy the well (or even the farhags after foley) without first killing foley. It doesn't make sense to me that it's okay to piggyback on another guilds work to get to the well.
