Elephant Guts from an elephant, an elephant calf, a corrupted elephant, a corrupted elephant calf (levels needed, DB - green to a 42nd and a 44th) in the South Badlands; zone-roaming. Guaranteed drop.

I've probably killed atleast 25 elephants and no guts yet. Is the wiki wrong and this is a random drop or is soemthing screwed up? Everybody I've talked to said they got the guts on their first kill, but most said they thought it could be a random drop. I've went back and got the quest 3 times thinking maybe it triggers the guts on the first kill to no avail. I'm at a lost here....is something screwed up or am I just unlucky on a random drop and the wiki is wrong?
 
I've done the quest twice due to a mandolin that mysteriously poofed off my cursor. It took me many kills each time to get them.

Yeah I gained about 3-4 levels searching for my elephant guts, and I was mostly killing greenies and Lblues :( I don't know anybody that got it on the first try, but lucky for them.

In addition (and this could be speculation) it was my experience that pretty much all the wanderers were PH for all the others, so kill all the corrupted centaurs, lions/lionesses (and corrupted forms) and corrupted kargyxx (if you can), and hopefully you will get more elephants to pop.
 
Thanks for you help guys, and you took the wanderer PH question right out of my mouth. What I'm doing is killing the guardian wraiths then doing a lap looknig for elephants - working out pretty good exp wise.
