First off, good riddance to the bastards who do this kind of thing. I hope you catch them all, and I hope they run home crying after you're done with them.

I've got a question, though... I sold a pair of shoulders to a level 1 twink last night for a couple kpp. If he was one of the kiddies duping plat (Dvinn was the name), will the plat be deleted? Assuming it is, will I get the Pauldrons of an Agonized Soul back? Thanks =P
 
actually the beauty of SoD is that there is ALWAYS an ETA, and unlike live, it is ALWAYS right on the money... ETA? when its done.
 
Even though I can't play just yet. This is why I love this server. Someone blasting racial slurs in OOC? BOOM, BAN! Someone with a horribly plagerized name? Name change! Love these guys.

Well... I have to disagree on the name thing. i've seen some names that were asked to be changed that didn't seem to warrant a name change... I think sometimes its overkill on the name thing. I mean I can see if the name is very stupid, or if its named after someone... but the names I refer to didnt fall under any of those categories. Rest of it I agree with you though and 90% of the time i agree with the names... but there are times when I think it is overkill (name change policy that is). However, I'd rather it be a little overkill than to see a bunch of silly stupid names I suppose.
 
Arguments can be made for and against a whole lot of names. It's far better that questionable names just be changed and be done with than to have people debating the changes, demanding justification, and wasting the devs' time. The naming policy is pretty clear. If you pick a name that might be violating it, that's you're choice. But if and when it gets changed, you just need to accept it and move on.

In the end, I'm not losing any sleep over it and plan to enforce it exactly as I always have. It's not changing, so get used to it or get out.

never ask for an eta. that is all you need to know. and dont question why. just accept it and be patient. thank you.
 
Ruiners of the economy. Nothing like going to bed one night, waking up to find that you've sold something overnight, then going to buy something and find that it's been jacked up in price by 20k.

And there will be none of that on this server (well except Homogenn, I'm sure he's not human)
