It's just human nature to know who did what and attaching a face (or in this case avatar) to the crime... Much like rubber necking while driving by an accident or someone pulled over. You just wanna know (or see).
heh, I've always been more curious about what the bug was (after they fix it), but they never will tell you that either ;p Probably 'cause there's a chance something similar will come along, /shrug.
It's kinda funny that around midnight my time, someone was buying a whole load of good items and someone else called them a duper (jokingly, of course). The irony of that, when 5 hours later the server went down 'cause of it, and yea that guy kept auctioning for every good droppable item in the game. I'm guessing the higher powers here are going to keep the names to respect privacy, or something, so don't ask me his name, heh.
forgot to add: tracking down and deleting all that plat from all the sales, etc, must be a *nightmare*

I dont care about the bug, what it was, or how it was done, just in case someone knows where to needle it.
However I'm VERY intersted in knowing who the offenders were, just on the matter of principle. Playing this game gives you a connection to the playerbase. Stuff like that you want to know. Or atleast I do.

I agree. Since they're gone from the game, we can't exactly harass them, and I wasn't planning to anyway. I'd just like to know who they were because I wonder if I've ever been in a group with them. It would also be good for the people in their guilds to know. If I were a guild officer and someone in my guild was banned, I'd want to know who they are so I know not to expect their return and wonder where they are.
Also, this isn't something we can do accidently is it? I'm not sure when this happened, I was playing until about 2am EST last night and didn't see anything odd. But I'm fairly clueless sometimes and could see myself doing something and not knowing I'd done it.
