Duoing help

My friend is going to be starting and wants to play a Bard. I was wondering which class would make a good duo with the Bard, any suggestions?

on Game Quellious I used to 2box a 64Necro/58Bard.

Bard would play selo's and I would run wherever I wanted to camp at.
When pet tanking, I would pulll start bard singing DS song, switch to necro, pull and let pet get agro...
throw on a few DOTs and switch to bard.
Bard would come in and attack from behind, twisting heal/DS/DD song, switch to necro to re snare/root/dot as needed, back to bard.

With Kiting (fear or normal) bard would just tag along sining heal/mana or I would target mob and sing DD.

since you guys are having two people playing... you will be able to tear through mobs w/ nec/bard combo!

My favorite is the Shaman/Rogue duo. Have the Rogue sitting back on /s 2(aggression style) and have the Shaman pull with a slow(or resist debuff). Once mob is in camp, cast a root on the Shaman and get right up in the mob's face. When a mob is rooted, he aggros the "closest" person to the mob. Well, with that rule being said....you're Rogue could do any amount of damage in the world and never steal the Shaman's aggro. Once you're higher level all you'll need is a Torpor/WB and you're Shaman won't die.

Don't forgot you have some of the best melee buffs in the game at your disposal.

Good luck man

The best class to go with a bard is the class you have the most fun playing. That being said different classes have different aspects that could be combined well with the bard. A ranger could aid in kiting, the same with a necro. An ench or shm could make the two of you incredible candidates for a group, especially the shaman. The shaman also has some kiting ability. If you do choose the ench/shm + bard expect to lvl incredibly fast and find groups easily (especially high end). My personal opinion though is choose the class that appeals to you most - the bard alone will bring you groups and mesh any class you choose to play into the group.
