Diety augments - how do/will they compare to eachother?

What makes it even worse is that as a mage not being to do ToT removes an enormous amount of options for CH7 items. Unless I'm mistaken his only options (ignoring the Sanctum legs) are thaz arms or vah banner.
 
Still would like the option of dropping current Deity for Divine light instead of Parah. Also the option for Parah to become Divine light.

Game Mechanics wise, not going to change anything but RP aspect thiers a HUGE difference between the 2.

That makes less sense. Not all the dieties are the bestest of friends. Swearing to one after swearing to another and forsaking them , i.e. defecting would make perfect sense in terms of almost all of the fantasy and rp literature dealing with pantheons...well ever. If this is different, thats all well and good, it's different. That doesn't automatically mean it makes sense.

After you've forsaken all of them, perhaps not. I'd imagine it would depend on what the dieties sphere is, as well as how high up on their virtue list forgiveness was, and the general atonement of an individual. Which I'd imagine would get quite complicated.

None of 'em that'll forgive for plane-farmin' anyway, but if I'm allowed to be a lore nerd I'd say Jayla's kinda pro-forgiveness these days in an ambivalent, conflicted sort of way.
 
Althuna I would think, if the PC underwent some kinda of Atonement quest.

Even if a deity doesn't like you, doesn't mean you can't worship them. Divine light worships all as a whole, reguardless if Deity A, and B hate your guts, you can respect thier realm of authority and pay them their respects that positions holds. Aka Divine Light.

And its not like Gardalsh or however you spell is him is going to think any less of a Divine Light toon or Parah toon. Heck.. he might have a Sliver more care for the Parah.

I certainly would at least like to see the option for those wanting to drop thier current Diety, to be able to go Divine Light instead of only Parah. Going from worshipping just 1 Deity to worshipping them all as a whole makes total sense as a step a character may make.
 
Gameplay wise the 'one chance only' system was designed so you would be making a serious, permanent choice for a deity, not shop around for whichever one fits you at the moment.

Regardless of RP reasons, the gameplay reason for the current system stands.
