I just hit the main site and saw there was a dice of misfortune coming up on sunday and got super excited. Then I realized it was last Sunday and got super depressed. I'd read about these in the past and really wanted to jump in on one. I wasn't even doing anything then, I could've totally jumped on for it!

Well anyway, enough /cry'ing. Anyone have tales from the event? What were the "prizes" people got? Was there a good sized mountain of corpses?
 
I'm super sad I missed it too. This is my favorite event. There is always next time!
 
I need to write it up when I get a spare moment. Prizes ranged from a couple hundred fame to some clickies to 1-hour jailings and DTs. :)
 
My regret for missing this is mountainous.

How often do these usually go down? Last I saw from a quick search was ~a year ago.
 
...there were also some bonus price DTs, just because we anted to do it. Oh and in the end everyone got PVP flagged. Hillarity ensured.
 
Hmm, trying to recall the last one, maybe 6 months ago? I remember it was in Centaur Hills.
 
Yeah that's why having fame rewards is kind of a joke nowadays.

The clockwork event in Steamfont was a fun GM event but I think it was only ever done one time?

I'll take fame rewards! I'd like to rave change daffie some day. To something more useful, or to something fun...hmmm
 
Cool event. Worth logging on for. Shame there was no notice until the day of the event. I imagine more than one person checked the website the day before and would have made it a point to log on had there been some advanced notice.
