is there any possible way this can be increased? Currently unpopulated and useless zones are taking the places of useful zones, and it locks people out of content, quest NPCs, etc. Adding ten more zone servers or removing stupid zones (Ruins of Nagililolwhatever[all fucking three of them], Athica B, any random planes) would be awesome so GMs don't have to shut them down, and they don't take up slots for other zones when GMs aren't around couldn't hurt.

Regarding removing "unneccessary zones" so the staff can implement "new ones:"

How much extra time/energy/server lag would be saved if such zones were removed?
Would it really be enough to populate other zones that people would attend?
Is the lack of more implemented zones due to the fact that we "have too many" or some such?

Given that there have been more zones in the past, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the fact that there are less zones now has little to do with having too many "zone slots" taken up by "useless zones."

I've been to Nagthilian (and Athicaa B!) a coupla times. It's got character. I'm thinking it's probably in more for "lore" reasons, but I could be wrong.

Having said all that, I'm always in support of new content. ;)
 
Regardless of how 'not easy' it is, its a problem that should probably be addressed. Currently there are what 5 (AthicaB all three empty and retarded Nag. zones and PoFire[what the fuck =/]) or more zones that take up useful zone slots and cause headache and trouble. I really hate to be an ass to the staff about this, but is anything at all being done about it?

You don't get it at all. It's not a matter of those zones 'taking up slots'.

I'm working on the real problem, though.
