After doing a half dozen Cmal runs, a idea came to mind. I am not going to pretend to know all the ins and outs of Cmal loot tables, but it seems that just about any mob can drop any class loot (dependent on Cmal 1, Cmal 2 etc).
With the amounts of Rotted gear I have seen, I was wondering if prehaps it might be possible to have Mobs drop Tokens instead. Leave the names alone as they are obviously but, have the trash mobs drop tokens instead of the Item. Tokens could be split into.. Minor (cmal1) Major (Cmal2) Superior (Cmal3) Godly (Cmal4).
Each token would then have a class grouping on them, like how the currently Ruined Armor drops go. ( Plate= War,SK, Pal, Clr, Bard.... Chain= Ranger, Rogue, Shm etc etc)
Gold= Plate
Silver= Chain
Copper= Leather
Bronze= Silk
So instead of Paladin Gloves droping in Cmal 2 you would have..
Gold Cmal (incert tier) Token
Glove
In the main hall with the 3 doors have quest NPC (prehaps Treasure Chests or Statues) that you hand these items to for your corrisponding item.
What would this do really? just help stop many of the rots you end up with in cmal due to the 6 man limit. You would still end up with rots, but it would give your group a bit more play as to what rots.
Just a thought... someone can correct me if I am not understanding how Cmal Loot works (as in if only certain mobs drop certain gear)
