Not for me. Just to update I recently uninstalled the game and reinstalled it from a different source (got another copy of Titanium). The problem is still the same. I should just mention again too that I get this even when playing just one character on one account.
There is an older thread about this issue by the way with a lot more information and a lot more people involved. It fizzled out eventually because apparently there is just no solution to this problem. The end of the line for me was when I checked my logs and found the specific error that happens on zoning. I googled the error and found out that it's an EQ EMU error that nobody has ever solved. At that point I gave up because if nobody in the entire EQ EMU community managed to solve it then there was no point me stressing about it. I just have to put up with it or not play.
I'm sure if some of the clever SoD devs worked on it, they could fix it. But I'm not sure if there are enough people for them to prioritise it, and seeing as the new 3.0 client is being worked on at the moment, maybe that will solve the problem.
