lol iv decided to make a gnome tank class lol

which do you guys recommend and why


and also would one of you be so kind to h elp me make it to newport when i make this charactor cause according to the wiki its almost impossible to find groups in klick -_-

Gnomes dont make great tanks..

Gnomes get stunned more then any other race in SoD.
Also:
Low STR = Lower Dmg = Less Taunt.
Low STA = Lower HP = Die faster, more work for your healer.

A Gnome would make a pretty good Rogue though what with the somewhat high Dex and Agi that they have. But make what you like. :D
 
gnome tank is unqie tho and with the right equipment im very sure they can hold there own


SO someone give me ideas on which of the 3 tanks i should get !


also str from what i read isent all about taunt


cause halflings have best taunt and low str -_-
 
The only real class I could recommend for a Gnome as a tank would be a Shadowknight. Of course, I've noticed lately that as a Rogue I generate a bunch of aggro just by going near the mob, so I could suggest that too.

In my opinion I'd stick with SK, though.
 
With the racial abilities and the new hidden strength AA, being a gnome or a halfling tank is more detrimental here than it ever was before, and ever was on live. I am a halfling warrior, and i strongly regret my decision. If you want to be the best tank, choose iksar or a stamina race. If you want a gnome for novelty, go for it, but I wanted a halfling for novelty at the time too.

Halflings have best taunt because it's a unique race ability; it has nothing to do with their strength.
 
i made a gnome sk they look werid in platemail lol

there helms have bubble eyes



do you know what all gnome classes spawns in Newport i noticed gnome sk did
 
If you're a necromancer or shadow knight you'll start in either Newport Sewers or in Grobb. The typical "evil" races will start in Grobb (Troll Iksar Ogre Dark Elf).
 
Don't make a Gnome, go with Halfling.

They make excellent tanks with thier taunt mod, plus they're just awesome.

eh, I play a Gnome Rogue. Probbly should have played a Barb for the STR, for some reason I thought +10% haste from items would be spiffy. I was wrong.

thou, as far as individuality is concerned, I believe I am the only High level gnome Rogue still active on the server.

Snook - 62 Gnome Rogue
Cinn - 62 Iksar Monk
