Cant get to char select

My win xp box is unable to get to char select since the patch a few hours ago. Immediatley after selecting the server the game window grows to full screen size then crashes everytime.

My main win 7 box has no trouble tho. Tried copying sod from other comp, a system restore, virus scan, nvidia driver update, repatch all, and dozens of reboots but no go. Maybe ill try throwing win7 on my box computer altho i hate to have to resort to that.

Having the same issue on two XP systems. The SoD patcher runs, the EQ windows runs, can log on, server select screen comes up, select server, then crashes and I get an eqgame.exe error, and it crashes..

eqgame.exe has encounterd a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the incovenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

We were running fine tonight till about 10:30 or so PST... we tried zoning, and then we started having problems.

my wifes new laptop running Win 8 is not having any problems... Will post more information if it helps..

Stop alt tabbing while it loads. Once you push enter let it sit there untill it goes all the way through.

Having the same issue this morning. Tried resetting my computer a few times without avail.

Should be fixed now - you may need to do a repatch all if it still occurs.
