best needed tank class

can someone tell me what class would be most needed and best for tank pal war or sk and why

It depends on the encounter. Beleive it or not, there really are encounters that specifically call for the use of a paladin or a shadowknight over a warrior. In addition, Paladins and Shadowknights OWN Warriors in aggro generation until the end raid game, and Warriors need very specific gear for that. But in General, a Warrior makes the best tank.

Having said that, tanks aren't really in high demand atm (at the end game) (imo), so your "most needed" tank would be. . . none. =D

I feel as though I'm in deja vu . . . .

I don't know that warriors get "OWN"ed in the aggro generation department until the high end game, but rather we have to work harder to find and keep aggro then our knightly cousins.

But ya really I agree with Allie, unless you are a something really cool like a Gnome SK name Minijose then there isn't alot of high end demand for tanks.

Imo, it's not that far away from live. Tankability: war, War, war, SK+Pal, Monk, Ranger, Beastlord
Aggro: Sk, Shadowknight, Sk, Sk, Pal+Ranger, Warrior, Beastlord, Monk.

(same gear level of course)

Most needed: idk really. Most guilds beef up a war to be the MT, if the player is on or not ;) So probably Paladins will be in high demand once the class revamp is done. Warriors? Dont think so, they are just transmitted :D

idk. Ive got good gear my aggro is good. I seem to be desired. Maybe its just me... or is it all paladins?!

Anyone who rolls another warrior is essentially saying they want to /shield for the rest of their life.

I'd consider rolling a Paladin though. Tanks aren't needed in the least that much anymore but they are great group healers for encounters with lots of rape AE's and the new Paladin group bonuses look interesting when they get around to being implemented.

...Assuming the only reason they are playing is to raid.

Well your posts are kinda braindead.

First you wanna know what is the "best" pet class
http://www.shardsofdalaya.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8656&highlight=

Then you want other to pick you class for you
http://www.shardsofdalaya.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8850&highlight=

Here you are burned out after your uber 5 day grind or something
http://www.shardsofdalaya.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8825&highlight=

And now its Enchanter time...where you even ask for people to pick gear for you
http://www.shardsofdalaya.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8853&highlight=

Now you wanna know the "best" tank in this thread

Just do whatever you want to do in game, I really dont care. But why you would care what the "best" of anything is I dont understand cause it dosent really matter for you. Anyone who gets burned out after 5 days will never see the end game and at lower levels there is dosent matter what you play really. Play for fun and thats it man.

If you wanna try different classes to see what they play like and if its to your liking then cool, feel encouraged to do so but asking on the forums repeatedly what the most wanted or "best" of anything is seems pointless and yes...seems like trolling.

It dosent matter if you play the "most needed" of anything if you need your hand held from start to finish.
