Hello,
To the staff, I'm aware that you guys are very busy working on resolving issues with 2.5. I know that is your priority and I do not expect any changes anytime soon, all I want is for this suggestion to go under consideration so that when the time is there then something can be done. This is a subject that me, Grinkles and Draist have been discussing over and over., that is risk vs reward+ time. Some adepts their loot does not go reflect the difficulty of the challenge involved, thus no one ever hunts them down, and I feel this is something that needs to be looked at. Here are some examples:
Tidefang the Wild

aside from the weight reduction bag, his loot is lackluster. Considering that you can get better heal inc IV items. The blade he drops has a nice proc, but the stats for the class that will actually wield it is not worth the effort, maybe a warrior for agro purpose. But look at the amount of times this adept has been killed, compared to the rest.
Theurgist Iztala

This one right here is the one I have the big beef about. The difficulty of this mob is insane. The strategy and gearing required for it is comparable to any t6+ raid tear boss. Her loot was nerfed, yet her difficulty was not. Often times it takes 3+ hours to gather some people for it just to wipe. Facts, anyone with standard to good gear facing this adept if they do not die from the fire elemental blast they will die from the first AoE from earth elementals. Heavy twinked players can survive an earth elemental's proc, maybe and a very hard maybe a second one, 3 procs in a row = wipe raid. But they are not only high damage, they also FD the whole raid thus people have to start casting group heals right away. It is just a nightmare. Tanks wearing full deepmetal plate gear does not make this fight any easier, then why does the shield she drops after max leveling is still weaker than Deepmetal shield? When the mob is that difficult the reward needs to reflect that difficulty, I say that shield needs to be better than Deepmetal shield which anyone can purchase for 2kpp but not better than Reverent Aegis (http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php/Reverent_Aegis) even thought we can argue about this, Killing Iztala is more difficult than Ka`Zlanish the Agonizer when comparing strats and gear needed, plus not to mention that you have to spend time leveling it. Another thing is that this adept compare to the old adepts drops 2 items...really noone cares about the clicky stones since they got nerfed from unlimited charges to limited(was that really necessary?) . The earring got nerfed to have the same rah HP and mana as agnar's earring, so you jump 30 levels and great deal of difficulty to just upgrade cha and effects, after previously it had over 100 mana and HP (equivalent to t2/t3 raid mob)which was the one item that lured people to this mob, I feel that was completely unneeded.
My point is, as adepts get higher in level, their loot does not reflect the difficulty of their encounter compared to tiered raid encounters of same difficulty, when people put the time to level up the item. Tidefan's gear needs some serious look over or have him included on a quest for a really nice item like Haunted treat or Lord commander Ragarati . Even Lord commander Ragarati has loot when leveled up equivalent to Raid T2. Tidefang has nothing Tier level after leveling. Iztala for the difficulty vs reward at the moment is possibly even worse than Tidefang, nothing that lures people into the insane difficulty and time. Either lower Iztala's difficulty to reflect the gear, or up the gear stats to reflect her difficulty. I also think Icefeather can be looked over as well, there is nothing that says "I must kill that adept" just that everyone doing Snowskin will kill Icefeather as well sine it is near by to grab that exp or twink a lowbie.
I appreciate you guys taking a look at this suggestion. Let me know if I'm wrong, or your toughs about the matter.
Cheers.
