Armor and Color

What do you think about SoD armor textures/colors as they exist now?

This is a poll -- not a debate. Also, the question that this poll poses does not mention dyes at all; I'm curious to see what people think about current colors/textures, not what they think about dyes and other unimped stuff =)

i like most of the textures and colors used, but i wish more stuff matched
alway liked when you saw someone and knew they had a full suit of whatever.
once you get past TS items here, you loose that here for the most part
 
A better poll would be: what colors are under-represented in armor? For example, there's tons of blue armor but not very much green.
 
This is not a suggestion or a request. Moving this to classes and gear until you can formulate a well thought out S&R thread at which point you can try posting there again.
 
Wiz thinks I make too much pink and purple stuff. I said it was better than the Christmas tree colored stuff that was only availble when I started playing (green and red ftl).

The red is fine. I like Sald looking like the Kool-Aide man, but I think the bard Thaz armor needs to be neon pink.
 
When I made this poll, I forgot that the point of posting in the Suggestions forum was to make a suggestion =P thanks for moving it and not trashing it...
 
Unfortunatly i'm saying the worst thing here....this is terrbile I know, but it's been boether me for awhile....my rogue has never, ever, ever, looked ANYTHING but flamboyant at best....i'm getting valor gear now but still....nothing matches ever, no matter how hard I try :( sooo if someone is a lot smarther then me and can think of a way to fix that my hat is off to you :)

color wise...too much frigin teal, not enough dark blue :)

Rogue Thaz armor is black. So black you can't see that it's actually chain, it just looks like a black jumpsuit.
 
...on a completely different note, what about sets of matching quest armor (Wyvernfang) being upgradeable? That is, players can take Wyvernfang armor that they've quested for, and at higher levels do more quests to make it more and more powerful. That way, there can be a decent set of matching armor retained throughout all levels. Of course, I have no idea how difficult this would be to code...would it be harder than creating new armor drops?
 
Obsidian rogue armor is full black! And I fail to see the point of the poll, in all honesty. I don't look at myself much, and honestly, I could care less if someone looks like a caleidoscope, as long as they know how to play their class... *shrug*
 
...which is why I put in a "don't care option", because I know there are people who don't care. But as you can see, there are also people who do care -- as long as there are different opinions, I think this poll has a point =)
 
obs rog armor...which you make and want to sell me is full black...too bad it sucks :(

I love the fact that Deepmetal is purplish pink. The best stuff to deck a tank in besides raid gear, and it makes them look like a weenie. A+

This exists. Its called giant (or dragon)/ornate/combine armor
 
But that armor can't be quested for in the 20's, or even 30's or 40's (can it? I have no idea)

What I meant is, what about armor that can be quested for at *low* levels, and then upgraded all the way up until 65.
