First of all, I didnt know where to post this, thought perhaps in the Balancing section, but i couldnt post there. So please move this, if its not in the right place.
Been trying to scan the boards for similar threads, and came up with 1 clue from Zaela:
The effect of the Hidden Strength AA for STA is to give 0.05% mitigation per 6 STA over 305 because the Client would not agree about adding extra HP (and we hadn't thought to shove the HP onto the Charm slot item at the time).
According to wiki:
Tome of Bodily Resilience costs 60 aa's to complete, and Increases physical mitigation by 1% per rank. That a nice tome.
Tome of Enhanced Stamina costs 30 aa's to complete, and Increases Hidden Strength STA overcap by 10 points per rank; which by my calculations, based on what Zaela told us, is 0,0833% mitigation IF you can get your stamina up over 510*.
The benchmark difference ratio is 6**, and keep in mind, you need to reach 510+ in the stat, for it to matter at all.
Now I haven't found any data on the other stats, but its probably the same effect and ratio.
(Avoidance tome vs Agi tome, Striking tome vs Str tome. Dex and Cha tome doesnt have a counter part)
Tome of the Mind doesnt have this problem. If you reach the overcap that these tomes gives, you just flat out get your 1%.
So other than raise awareness of the issue, I guess my suggestion here is, do the same for Sta, Str, Agi, Dex and CHA please.
This would make the Tome of Enhanced Stamina read:
Increases Hidden Strength STA overcap by 10 points per rank to award physical mitigation by up to 1% per rank.
(30 aa's to complete still seems fair, because its not an easy task getting your stamina to 510+; and if maxing out the Hidden Strenth aa's arent already a requirement, it should be.)
While I am at it, could be nice with:
Tome of Precision:
Increase your chance to hit by 1% per rank.
60 aa's.
Tome of Persistence:
Increase your chance of landing spells by 1% per rank.
60 aa's.
The actual math:
*
Normal cap: 305, Hidden Strength aa: 6 x 30 = 180, Heroic Power aa: 5 x 5 = 25.
305 + 180 + 25 = 510
**
Resilience: 1/60 = 0,0166
Stamina: ((0,05/6)*10) / 30 = 0,00277
0,0166/0,00277 = 6
