2-boxing

Dunno what program that is.. I prefer EQCompanion. It lets you see the DPS from the mobs, any pets in group/raid, spells, etc.. Most people recommend Yalp (which might be what that is, dunno), but I didn't like Yalp too much. Search for them both, and give them a try.

You can change your settings in that ui file to make the log automatically start when you enter the game.

eqclient file. Open with notepad/word pad, and change "Log=FALSE" to "Log=TRUE"

Just remember to delete/rename the file after a while. They can get pretty big. I still have a 80mb log file from my Live char, that took forever to parse.
 
That is Yalp, correct. I'll probably try EQcompanion sooner or later though because I was told that Yalp double counts critical hits from people, which results in slightly (or very, if its a backstab) inflated damage numbers.

Log=TRUE does the trick like Wazeek already stated, but yea, make sure you rename/move/whatever your log file regularly because it will get big, which means alot of cpu hogging to get it parsed fully. I've logged everything on my char since I was level 25 or so (late april-may) to where I am today, which adds up to ~250mb of log files. So as you can see it gets very big, especially if you're like me and keep logging "other (players) hits".

Turning off critical hits will solve the crits counting double issue as Yalp will simply see it as a very high hit then.
 
Does /log on record all text or just what goes in the main text box?
