Zone in point changes

Is it possible to change the zone in point when entering a zone?

One of the most frustrating issues I have had with WR is often I zone in facing the zone out. Many times this results multiple zoning, me feeling like a complete idiot, and a solemn conviction that the developers parents only met briefly on one occasion. :)

Would it be possible to alter the entry point to Grobb from Stingers Bog to be a little ways into the zone in such a location as to be obvious which way the town is and which way the zone is? Same the other way into Stingers Bog from Grobb would it be possible to zone in right by the Wardens.

This could be applied to other zones as well particularly 'newbie' towns. To a veteran this may be a minor issue but to the new player it is very frustrating.

This is something that will be addressed. If I remember right, someone said to make a note of where it happens and bug it. Never use the in-game bug command, go the the web site bug area.

If I'm wrong about submitting it as a bug, then I'll probably have to carry 4 tons of Ramen noodles around on my characters :p.

I remember when I first started having to get used to the backwards zones and such, and I also remember about a month or two ago something wacky happened and all these other backwards zones popped up and it was really frustrating to know the zone lines, but have them changed to make you feel like your just starting on WR again =p

Even older players can feel this too hehe. And yes, I believe you big list em.

While this may not be what you want (I too find this annoying), a quick and simple solution for now would be to max your Sense Heading skill (only takes an hourish~) and get the arrow on your map. Then make it a habit to look at the map EVERY time you zone, unless the way is obvious. Either that or if you're really lazy just zoom in a ton and move a bit to see which way you're facing and such.

Doesn't work when you zone in from Everfrost to Faentharc Woods. You're set so far back on the map that the tunnel doesn't show up and you can't see which direction you're facing anyway.

I agree that sense heading is valuable and that's what I use most times, but yeah I think we all need to start writing down these funked up zone lines and bug listing them.

I am slowly, but surely, visiting every zoneline in the game and manually tweaking the direction in which you zone in. There are over 100 zones, most with 4-5 zonelines, so this is a large project for Dwarf with such short legs.
