When you say you played using a proxy server, what do you mean? Are you talking about something like Tor, or a local socks proxy or ? I believe it to be a networking issue too, I'm just curious if it's something that I can alter and test.

just a VPN program i got off google, not gonna say which since I don't want the same ip as 10 other people. but it has 100% confirmed stop my crashes, unplayable when i turn it off.

Dude, please get in touch with the dev (PM or IRC) that is trying to help and give him all the information he requests. If this crash problem can be solved, you will have been part of helping MANY very frustrated people.
