Being on Giant faction, we have to port in to WW whenever we raid DHK. This is the only near-by port, and there are no mansion portals anywhere close. We usually lose at least 15 minutes, usually more, due to people dying either on port in to the hard-hitting mobs (wurms, dragon, drakes, wolves) that wander by there, or while running to DHK due to the invis-seeing drakes.
People on Dragon faction raid StormKeep, which has the Faentharc portal very close by and is completely safe, and Storm's Eye which can be accessed from Great Divide. The druid portal in GD is completely safe, and the Wizard portal only has low-level non-see invis giants wandering around. Even without invis it's an easy run through the giants to East Wastes, and a completely safe run through EW to SE. Additionally, both SK and SE aren't too far to run from the Thurgadin portal.
I was wondering if the staff would consider modifying the port-in to Western Wastes to be more safe, either my moving the port in site or changing the wandering paths of mobs.
