just now noticed this when i actually read his news update

and for those who dont know, WTF Comics is a webcomic dedicated to EQ, which mainly EQ players read. i think we need to find his char and give him some bonus fame points =)
 
Well then, I will selflessly accept the 100 referrals he is owed; you know, just taking one for the community. :p

Seriously, that's very cool: to get that much of a headline from a site that a) lots of people read and b) a high % of those people are oldschool / into RP, etc.
 
I knew about WR b4 I saw it on WTF when WR first came out. But I nvr got into b/c of no internet, now I have it and it was WTF that reminded me about WR! WTF comics a 1337!
 
I first heard of winter's roar through eqemu site

I had heard something about an "emulator" on Monkly-Business. Googled it and got to EQemu site. Seemed real interesting since I like to tinker with code a little. Tried other servers, spent alot of time on Raid Addicts until I maxed my char out and no new zones were made =( Went to Scorpious2k, which I realy engoyed (Big hits, tough mobs) But had a issue with Dragon eating my CH sword which ended my ability to fight anything worth exp =( Had a char on WR which I played from time to time but not consistantly. Ran my own server for a few months. That was kinda fun. But now back to stay on WR. May get my server going again if I ever get the time to get it where I want. Maybe when the snow flies again..

Stra is just a good guy that wants to play the game. ON eq he got harrassed a lot and he wants to play in privacey.

Wiz made a post on Postfarm.net in our EQEmu thread that LiquidToxin started. Mind you most of the posts were dedicated to either server complaints (we started when it was going down three or four times a day) or to tech. problems.
