Wizards vs anything else

I was wondering is there any difference between Wizards on WR and Wizards on EQLive...

I played a wizard for 59levels on EQlive, and found that well after 59 Levels i got bored of just Quading and Nuking the crap out of stuff...

So yeah...Is there a difference between WR Wizards and EQLive Wizards as in their capabilies in raids...solo...grouping...and just in gereneral...

You can nuke, and quad, and crowd control (lack of bards/enchanters make us viable for that!) and you also get a sweet ass proc line you can cast on other players. The last one is 95DD/95 mana sieve which is priceless on caster-mob raid encounters.
