WIZ Relic pet, Archaic & Codex.

I noticed that the mimiced nukes from the wizard pet are affected by your current codex level. This is true for all spells but archaic. This might be intended or not, but if its not, I'd appreciate if someone could look into this.

Ancient: Destruction of Ice is also not effected by tomes, pet still bangs away at 1200 after a full tome completed.

This post doesn't make too much sense. Are the spells affected or not affected by the codex?

The spells casted by the wizard are affected by the codex. The spells mimic`d by the wizard pet are NOT affected. Wich is confusing, cause other spells mimic`d are affected (I know for sure for Relic nuke & RRR).

Oh I get it.

Affected: Most spells
Not affected b/c of unknown reasons. Ancient destruction of ice and archaic.

Am I right?

Just for clarifications sake.

Wizard relic pet has a chance to mimic a nuke cast by the wizard at its base dmg value...ie not effected by aa's, DI, or focus effects, or altered by -agro mods or aa's and blah blah blah.

Per Nwaij, Relaks Rapid Rending and our Relic fire nuke, when mimic'd by the pet, have had its dmg increased by tome xp.

Archaic and Ancient nukes are deffo not effected by tome xp (sa far as pets are concerned). They are still hitting at the nukes base value when mimic'd. 2575 for arch and 1200 for ancient.

Wizards: Completely affected by tomes.
Wizard pets: Affected by tomes except for achy and ancient.
Us: Looking into it.

This is probably unnecessary, but

Thanks for the update and assurance that this is being looked into!

it could be because the wizard himself is the one with the completed tome. and since the pet is only mimicing the wizard's spell, it wont be affected by the tome/ AA's or whatever because the pet itself technically hasnt completed anything aside from being summoned.
thats my take on it. seems most logical answer i can give. hope it helps

The question is why the pet *is* affected by AAs and codex for most spells, but *not* affected for some other spells.
