ok in regards to monk fist dmg and high lvl monk weapon.

Why is it that if I switch to Wildstrike Baton 13/20 as Human monk my dps will likley go down at 65 since my fists are 13/18 even considering the proc.

The only reason I'd use it is for stats and sacrafice some dps. I think the dmg/delay ration on that weapon should be raised to at least 13/18. Mind u I dont even own the damn thing , but it bugs me since I am looking for a nice high lvl weapon.

It's gotta be the proc. That and, who doesn't need stats? but im sure a high lvl monk can tell you for sure
 
the proc is unresistable. Your DPS will go up, promise. You'll also get stats, and look pimp.
 
If only I had 6k to spend on such an item. I've wondered the same thing that Drotic here was thinking about.. why all the monks I saw were using them.
 
Stats and proc. The reason the unarmed fists are so good is that unarmed fists == no stats/hp/etc, which sucks for a puller especially.
 
Not only that, but the fist ratio for Human monks is 13/18, which is a small advantage in their favor. In the Iksar's case their fist damage is 13/20 where equipping the baton would raise their DPS to match that of the Human fist damage ratio, and add a very helpful proc as well as the extra stats.
 
didnt know proc was unresistable. I'll have to parse it when I get it and when I get 65.
