Wildstrike Baton

I got this http://www.angrygamer.net/sodwiki/index.php?title=Wildstrike_Baton the other day on my monk, and was all excited, since wiki shows it being rec level of 52. Turns out its actually rec level of 60 :-/ Just curious as to why this was changed to its current level of 60. I was hoping to use it in my ongoing quest to make Traekoth my bitch... Being 57, its missing 1 pt of damage and has no proc, making it less effective than my current weapons.

I of course have no idea when (or why) it was changed, but would you consider lowering it back ??? Pretty please ? I'm currently wielding a Cane of the Champion which is 14/20 (better ratio, less stats no proc) which has a much lower rec level. Also, monk usable weapons that are harder to get (such as Fistwraps of Wrecking) have a lower rec level as well.

EDIT: Cane of the Champion is just Magic and No Drop, not lore... not sure if that's intended or not, as its a pretty nice weapon (that's fairly easy to get, all things considered).

Was Cane of the Champion changed or am I getting names mixed up?

Anyway, Wildstrike Baton's an awesome weapon that deserves a rec. level of 60. So long as everything else that drops from Rymaz is level 60, I don't see a problem.

Everything from Rymaz doesn't have a rec level of 60. In fact, I think the baton is the only level 60 rec item on him. I've seen several pieces, but only could get one link on such short notice:
