Wiki naming convention ...

Can we establish some sort of official or even unofficial but user enforced naming convention for the wiki?

For example:

All Quests are in this format

Quests/Halas
Quests/Newport

And if one quest in a zone is so amazing that it needs its own then:

Quests/Newport - Uber Quest

Same for zones:

Zones/Erudin
Zones/Mistwood

For General information:

Info/Translocators
Info/Hunting Guides

For Newbie Helpful Info:

Newbie/OOC Etiquitte

or something along those lines so that the information is organized in a more useable manner, even when using the search feature it would help to understand the category of the results to your search.

I am all for trying to maintain standardization in the Wiki. I would also like to see a basic template for quest documenting, zone information etc.

I am by no means trying to feed my ego here but for example:

Denfenders Insignia

Might I suggest adding one thing to that layout...

right after it says ..

Starting Zone: [Mistwoods]
Ending Zone: [Mistwoods]
Quest Giver: Lieutenant Emorn (Located at entrance to Erudin)
Prerequisite Quest: none
Results in Quest: [Fishing_Supplies]


put a level indicator of some sort..

ie.

Starting Zone: [Mistwoods]
Ending Zone: [Mistwoods]
Quest Giver: Lieutenant Emorn (Located at entrance to Erudin)
Prerequisite Quest: none
Results in Quest: [Fishing_Supplies]
Suggested Level: XX

It can be done - I have a tendency to find quests well after they are trivial for me but that is something that can be added.

Thats indeed a very nice template. When I get around to it I will rewrite my Starfall Druid quests to it.

More ppl like you should be feeding the Wiki =D


Btw, question to the admins:
Is it possible to re-arrange the wiki? For example, everything quest related is now in Quests/... But with the sudden growth in data in the wiki it would be nicer if quests like the ones from starfall would be further sub-categorised. like: Quests/Starfall/Class 1/2

Ofcourse we could just make these new pages, but that everything ends up double
