Come on now. This would be outstanding for people not familiar with WR and especially EQ. Already, it is full of some basic information. I have put quite a bit of time into starting some posts(really not trying to brag, they suck lol) You guys have to fix them up, start making new ones, speciallize, etc. We could eventually have tips for EXPing in all the zones. Mob types. Tactics for certain things. Quests. Racial information. If you dont know what to do you could do simple things like copy all of your classes AA information into it. It is very simple, and as I am seeing, very underused.

Any information in it can be altered/improved. If nothing else, give some of the posts a little update here and there, or if you have a few minutes, start your own!!!

This can benefit everyone! I cant stress it enough. :p

Yeah seriously, there's like three of us editting and adding to it. We could get a nice little book built up pretty quickly if we had more help.

Lower left portion of main page: www.wintersroar.com. Click the button.

I then go to 'recent changes' and select a random topic. Once you are that far. You look up at the pages url and literaly delete the name of the page you are at(it come after the question mark toward the end. I.E. you wanted to make a page called n00bs, you could go to the 'quets' page and up on the url chance the last part that says ?quests into ?n00bs. Then hit enter, go to 'edit text on this page' and make your write up.

I just did zone information for one that I am familiar with if you want some sort of template. Seemed to work well for me, beside spelling and the fact that i need to check the drops and names.

I sugest keeping paper near your computer to gather data, im gonna try it out, GL all, lets make it happen!

I just glanced at a few of them.

What would really help is if you gave information about what level to start quests, and what level the mobs are. Most can gauge roughly, but if we want an encyclopedia, it's best that we include all the pertinent information.

Also, for some of the new users, it's helpful if you list the Live map name, and the WR map name. I'm still confused some of the time. :/

Other than that, it looks great, and I'll stuff when I come across it.

Whas great about your ideas for live zone names and level ranges is that you can add them! Not everyone can think up every detail on the spot so other browsers have to take initiative and add it in when they can.

Is there a way to add onto it within the same thread?

Hehe...I see. :) I know you can get there from Maps anyway, but it seemed silly to have an extra step in the process. :)

I like this idea. I'll contribute once I have a little more experience with the server. Only been on since Sunday. :)

In the case of the Hello thread, I tried to link it up with another easier page. I made a maps page and typed: See [Hello]

I thought the wiki would pick up the link, but it didn't, but on some of my posts this happens randomly that the words link up, how do i make it work please?

found a better way around that with the 'cut' command mwa ha ha, still would be handy to know how to do that 'linking' type thing though, TY TY TY

It is still frustrating that this could be FULL of information now if people helped. I see it growing at a dismally slow rate right now. I mean, ONCE A WEEK you could at least UPDATE someone elses post. That should be a minimum....really guys!!!!!

I still find Irme's fan site to be much more useful. The wiki is just not organized well enough. I don't want to have to search every time I want something. I like categories.

I think both have their use, but I really think it would be nice to support a player's fan site instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.

I believe the wiki is seperated by categories, but these categories are not accessible from the main page. :/

It already has some good information. If you really like to browse, go to recent changes, and scroll down untill you see something interesting(it cant be in 'categories' i guess. Thats browsing IMO.
