I'm thinking there should be a /who all PvP; there is a /who all LFG, so why not PvP, I understand people would have PvP in their name and all, but maybe there is another way to instigate it other then /who. It was just something I had been thinking ever since ganking a couple people the other day. PvP flagged people are so rare to find, that it would be nice to be able to see who is. It doesn't even hvae to show zones or anything. I mean....who wants some dork ganking you while exping? It'd just be nice to know that i'm not the only one flagged for once. -.-'

just wondering if we can get an explanation as to why not? pvp is voluntary no one forced you to go pvp, It seems to be that getting killed comes with the territory doesnt it? as it is right now the drawbacks outweigh the benefits, if your pvp that means you actually want to.. pvp right? why hide?

I think the only thing it would do is force more PvPers to go anon so you couldn't tell what zone they were in. Being able to have a tracking system of people you can kill isn't really holding on a roleplaying level either. PvP is a weakness to the player who is PvP. A weakness in that they are vulnerable to an attack. I'm not about to announce my weaknesses to everyone so they can be exploited.

LFG on the other hand makes sense that you can be tracked down. Hey, I'm looking for a job, but you don't know that. How would anyone know you were looking without you spamming the global channels?

yea but how many things about this game dont make roleplay sense? sometimes function/gameplay trumps lore/roleplay. dunno if this is a case of it though, not much discussion on it.

edit: going pvp should disallow /anon in the first place, someone who murders(pvps) shouldnt be able to hide in the first place. reminds me of rallos zek with pk/anti pk good/bad essentially

Not good at all... this would reduce the amount of people who leave pvp on because they would rather not be harassed.

It is almost the same as any zek. I log on my 35 twinked out monk and do /w all 27 35 and pick a target and hunt them down.

as opposed to the mass of people who are pvp now? i can think of maybe, maybe 5-10 people who are pvp at 65(interferes with raids AE, cancel magic etc.) , i dont know about 27-34 but im guessing there is hardly a healthy pvp base there. The fact that pvp'ers are so rare makes the ability to search them out desireable. And if they would rather not be harrassed why are they pvp anyway? so they can get the jump on someone else but never be annoyed themselves? or just for the cool red name...

Pvp != want to be harassed

Pvp != want to be harassed

voluntary pvp has a place, duels, where both sides are ready, willing and know that they are about to be acttacked. if /pvp is only meant to say hey i might want to /duel you ask me first then i dont see the point of it. i dont know about you but i count being attacked when i dont want to be whether its in a raid or group, annoying/harrassing... which i dont mind. but as wiz/zodium have both said, no, so i'll just hope for pvp server someday w/ rallos zek rules.(hopefully) :sadf:
