i soloed and rarely grouped a necro to 58. he has pretty decent gear that didnt really cost much when you save your money and stuff. Take a look at his armor and it might give you an idea for your chanter.

i also have a 57 cleric that might give you ideas on some druid armor, but since he is a plate class im not sure how much he will help
