what happens if i forgot my GL password and cant remember the email i used

I don't know ...but I would assume if you can provide the date in which the account was created...or some other detail like that the staff might be able to help you.
 
HAHA! You can try emailing them too. Ya...they are pretty slow at getting around to stuff. That's my experience anyway....just hang in there and keep trying.
 
Been on IRC for past 2-3 days and spent hours each day with petition in. Can I email somebody about this? I completely understand that this is a small problem and I am at fault for losing it. Just tough to play with no active tome and not gaining any exp
 
for the person who is unaware on what to do during these times this is what you're supposed to do. (from what I can remember)

you email the GM staff (usually the Head GM at the time) with as much information as possible as to when the account was created.

You should probably include what you think is the email that is tied to the account.
You should include the location (state / country / city) you were in when you created the account.
Might want to include the time more or less when you made the character on the account or when you registered
 
Usually we can work with folks on this. The more information you can provide, the better. It's FAR more difficult if (a) you can't remember the email or (b) you can't access it anymore. That said, we can sometimes find alternative means of validating your account, but it's not easy and requires someone to do some serious digging. In general, it's a good idea to email Karit if you fall into this category, though dropping in petitions doesn't hurt either.

Moral of the story - make sure your PoA email is known to you, and keep it around! It makes life far easier. :)
