Well Ring

Please fix the well ring. I know it checks who is flagged by determining who has beaten the well, but even it bugs so much. Some people in Bane who have beaten the well still aren't flagged according to the greater elemental. Even letting it COMPLETELY wear off and re-casting the well ring doesn't work on him.

I propose to fix the well ring or to just have the well ring work on the first elemental to open up porting options. Whichever way lets people move around ToT smoother. As it is, getting a raid into a wing takes quite a bit of work.
 
Probalby a good thing to note in here also, is that it failed on 'raid' of 2 chars, who both in fact, HAVE well rings.

Which is silly. Someone with a well ring should be able to move around freely imo.

Also, as Smad pointed out, there are quite a few chars who have dowend the well numerous times and still apparently arn't flagged. ><
 
they are trying to base it on total number of flags rather than a % of the raid force having the flag, since this is much harder to control since many people will try slipping by. Total # of flags is something that can be hard coded and controlled without the need of a GM present
 
GM-Assistance is needed more than it ever was now @ the 2nd spirit, as far as I've seen. It is a headache for everyone.

Ah, I did not know that, but I've gotten 1 of the 2 toons through before for some reason. Also, would this require 12 people to physically go back to the 2nd ele to flag 1 additional person in (who came late)? Or can you just raid in additional people as long as you have 12 flagged (as in not 12 physically there, but 12 in the raid, in the zone)? I seemed to have missed an official statement or something regarding the new well ring changes and requirements.

Things that happend this evening alone:

Coudln't get past spirit with 4/5 flagged chars.

After successfully well ringing, and getting the emote and the well option, the spirit would not even let us continue.

After well rining then evacing to pick someone else up (well ring still in after a success!) not only would the spirit not let us past, but he would not even let us do the non well ring option (leaving us stranded)

This has wasted an annoying large amount of time due to how incredibly buggy it is. Easy fraking solution: put it back to the way that it was, and BAN anyone who cheats.

Headache , yep. and annoying. It contrasts the Pug rules with the guild raid rules for months people have been unable to port around ToT. However nobody has managed to make a firm rule on this subject.
 
Can you guys post the set-ups you were trying to enter with when you ran into problems. Like full number of people in the raid, dispersal of flagged people in groups if you remember. More information can't hurt.

For the 4/5 it was Aniketos, Avernus, Balar, and Konad (all flagged) and Zefar who was not.

I don't remeber the full list of poeple for the raid, but assuming that i'm going to run into this next time i'll raid ToT i'll screen shot it and post it.
 
2nd spirit has bugged out on me when I was solo (I have every single flag), it accepted the well ring fine, but refused to port me anywhere. No replies or anything.
