Weird Zoning Issue.

Hi everyone,

I am having a minor issue with the client and I wanted to see if anyone on here had an idea of how to fix it. But before I explain my issue, let me explain a little about my setup I have working here.

I have a really nice computer that I just built last year (Intel quad core, GeForce GTX 280, etc) and when I installed SoD I basically followed these steps:

1. Uninstalled any existing EQ relevant software on my PC (I was previously playing the Escape to Norrath thing, so I uninstalled that, and removed any "EQ" stuff from my PC).
2. Load up my Titanium Edition discs, install the full game using CDs.
3. Download the SoD Patcher.
4. Followed the steps on a similar thread in this forum, letting the patcher do it's thing.
5. Created my account and logged on, etc. Have been playing ever since.

My problem is this:

For some reason, just about every single time I zone, EQ "crashes out" -- it will give me the "Loading, please wait..." message, but then after like 10-15 minutes I just give up and have to CTRL+ALT+DEL and re-start the patcher and re-log in.

I am running the game in my desktop's native resolution, full screen (which is about 1680 x 1050) and I have all settings turned to max. I don't have any graphical lag or anything any time. I am using old spell effects and old character models as well.

If anyone has any ideas, let me know...

Another weird thing is, I noticed that some of my necromancer's spells (Mend Bones) has no graphical animation with it.)

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.
