Hey guys! Not able to raid on weekdays? Still wanna see some cool raid zones such as Dragonhorn Keep, Plane of Air, Plane of Torment and beyond? If youre 60+ and a nice person, here is your chance! The Weekend Pick-up Alliance formed tonight, and kicked off its opening raid with some awesome NDHK kills. Heres some eye-candy.

If youre interested in being contacted for weekend raids, send Zorlaft, Junius or Rurho a tell in game, or PM Jun, Antihelei or Rurho here on the forums! We hope to do this weekly on Friday/Saturday, starting (hopefully) around or slightly after 8pm EST. We meet in Athica. Anyone who is a nice guy and 60+ can attend. If we get enough (or too much), we will start two raids. EDIT: Currently loots are done on a discretionary rolling basis (send raid leader a tell on an item you want, raid leader chooses who rolls from the tells received).

Nice work everyone who attended. Hope to see some new faces next Friday :haw:
 
The raid went really smooth and we all had a great time! Thanks to everyone who came and grats to everyone who got loot!

Was an awesome time. 2 screens I snapped towards the end of the raid.

everyone there performed marvelously, didn't matter if they were level 63 or 65 with 250 AAs, no one made any big dumb mistakes. Heck, Aalaisia and Junius were the only people dumb enough to fall into the pit in NDHK... But yeah, it went very smoothly, and at a fairly decent pace.

thanks for leading it off Zor, and thanks to everyone who came.

Ooh, and also, thanks to Cavidar, the level 59 paladin, who graciously opted out when we had 19 people there. Thanks for being a good sport.
 
I think this pickup raid thing is a pretty cool idea, glad to see someone taking the initiative
 
Yea, i tried once doing that on misery, unfortunetly i had to go in middle of raid.. :(

Congratz rurho , zorlaft and junius for the idea.

Too bad i came like 10 mins later... a dragon sinew (the only thing i need for my swiftshot) droped :(
 
What a great idea! This guy Ashorty did a public raid thing for the E'ci server on live, and it was a lot of fun for when guild wasn't doing anything (or for those not guilded for whatever reason). It was very successful, so I can see this really taking off too. 2 thumbs up Junius! Grats to all the looters so far. :)

I remember Ashorty :) They were great raids, and yeah, I think this is a fantastic idea. Hope they keep it up :)
 
Oh man, you guys are bringing back memories. Being in an Ash raid was like being a hill-person in a coal town, with all the Backflag mutants scumming around in the valley, trying to do CoD but dying again and again.

I'm getting all misty-eyed

Just thought I'd let everyone know that Zorlaft totally put this raid together/lead it. Thanks for the kudos, but all I did was make this post!!!

NDHK is once again the focus for Friday, and hopefully some PoAir Saturday. Stay tuned!
 
Id be happy to join you guys on saturday and bring whatever class you need. I don't really want loot just to tool around on the old content.
 
I'd like to have most everything figured out by 6PM Eastern, so if youre interested in coming pop online and shoot me a tell before then please. I'm reserving 5 spots for healers, otherwise it is first come first serve. (If more than expected want in, we can try setting up two seperate raids). Hopefully we will be able to start around 8PM Eastern.
 
If you all are still truckin around midnight and need replacements, Should be back from work by then, 2nd job schedule still pending.
