Weapons with lower level requirements with procs.

Even when you are buying or selling a weopon, knowing the proc lvl is definately a factor in the price. I hate when people don't know and we are all left guessing. My best weopon i own, i still have no clue when it procs and i dont like that and many people experience this problem. Yes, i can live without this info and still enjoy sod... but maybe put raherin to work, she has plenty of time to go around illusioning people for hours on end apparently.

Hi Aytowun,

my suggestion to you is be part of the solution. Anyone can add to the SoDwiki. I've gone ahead and added the Moth-Eaten Tree Switch for you based on your Wanelo. You can add the level restriction and the proc level when it does happen for you (I threw in a comments section on the item for that purpose).

Anyone else who is frustrated with not knowing what level a proc will occur should also contribute on the happy day it does, so others can avoid the same waiting game.

Identify DOES exist on SoD. I like this idea, but I imagine it would be quite a bit of work to go back and add this "lore" to all the items that can proc or have a clicky. There are many things on the wish list that I would hope would be higher priority.

Farcy i appreciate your positive attitude i really do, we need more of this on sod, but im still frustrated with not knowing when it will proc.

BTW The proc is drifting death so maybe between 44-63 i assume, my ranger is currently 44 and it wont proc yet.
 
yami, i dont know you and you dont know me...but get over it. If reading a sentence on the forums bothers you that much in real life you should probably not read the forums anymore or you will get grey hair and have a heart attack at a young age. If im gonna plunk out my cold hard cash i expect more than a rude reply from jayelle.... Wiz always sez the best way to get your voice heard is to come to forums.... but alot of gm and highbees seem to be very condescending here? or is it just me that brings this out ? lol ... i TRY to go by the "disagree without being disagreeable" method.
 
I'll see if I can get access to the info and maybe type up something along the lines of the haste percentage listing, but I'd have to check it with Wiz.

First, plunking down cold hard cash doesn't give you any special treatment, which is one of the things that makes this server so good. It doesn't pander to the mighty dollar like that other company does. You can't buy equipment, platinum, or special priviledges by paying money.

Second, how was Jayelle's reply rude at all? It was stating a fact from a server perspective, not an admin perspective.

If a level 39 warrior could all of a sudden "cast" a level 39 shaman spell, that would be overpowering, and unfair to shaman. Thus, the warror won't be able to "cast" that spell until much later than 39, so it doesn't make the spell useless for a shaman in the group (the shaman will have a much better version by that time).

Because it's less unbalancing for a class to get a "free" version of a spell they could cast anyway.

whats a p86? i play sod on a commodore 64, but i have a turbo button on it... and i do depress it.

btw the jayelle thing; i was referring to an older post where i said i think adpet respawn rate is 2 long

P.S. does any1 know when Moth Eaten Tree Switch procs at? the person who sold it to me has no clue and no1 has ever even heard of this item existing when i ask in /ooc

I sold one of those a while ago, because I figured by the time it would proc, the DoT isn't going to be as good for aggro as a better ratio weapon. If it's a level 44 spell it procs, I'm guessing it's not going to proc until 49 or 50
