Weapon quests lacking in the low-mid levels?

Heya everybody,

Well, as I have decided to hunt/quest for all my gear, I understand that I will not be able to upgrade my stuff as frequently as other people...  However, there either is a complete lack of questable weapons in the 20-50 level range, or I'm missing something.

The first weapon quest I did was the Steamfont sword, completed at level 17.  Then, Voice of the Centaur at level 33.  As a Ranger, I'm certainly happy to get a great bow at that level, but melee-wise...  It was the quest in Steamfont, and that's it.

I've checked the Wiki, I talk to every NPC I run into, but I haven't found any other quest that would yield me a weapon until I'm of a high enough level to tackle the infamous Ruby Hilted Longsword.

Have I missed any?

you cant jsut upgrade all your gear from doing quests specially weapons. Some classes get weapons from starfalls. Most common way to upgrade a weapon will be going to a zone and hunting a named mob that drops one. Cant be sticking all kinda quests for no reasons so people can get geared, and frankly there are lots.

That's not very practical at all.

For no reason? Like sitting in one spot killing the same mob over and over hoping it'll drop what you need isn't "for no reason"?

If you read the post carefully he states that weapon quests seem to be lacking in low-mid levels. They are. Since you've stated that "there are lots", maybe you'd like to list off some that he'd be able to do as a mid level ranger?
