Weapon Graphic

Why does the name have to change, it's not called " a rat claw" and you could make it a dagger and just assume the dude with a buncha rat pets calls his dagger ratclaw.

Or would you prefer it be called Sting?
 
It's called Rat-Claw, not Rat-Claws. The dagger actually makes a lot more sense logically than a metal grip with three huge metal talons.

It's hilarious how there's even a thread complaining about something so dumb.
 
While it is funny its still not a out of the world request i mean as you go up in tiers wep graphics get cooler then you get this from yclist and its like lol

That's true, but I think that's what makes it even more badass. Shouldn't you care more about what it does, than what it looks like? And i don't think there's another weapon graphic in the game that would make more sense than what it currently is. The beastlord epic proposal would make sense if the weapon was called 'Colossus Metal Rat-Claws'
 
I mean you can't sit there and tell me you don't want your character to look cool? That's a part of this game, to progress through tier's and make your character look like a badass.

The thing is no one will ever use this thing, its a pretty crappy weapon in general and anyone who is killing ratlord will just wait for a galeforce or something, This weapon does not deserve an assume model because it would be wasted on it, the only reason i can think of anyone would use it is why your using it, You ware in a highish tiered guild got it on rot/backgearing, stopped playing the guild fell apart and now you can't upgrade it.
 
.909 ratio 370 dmg dot is pretty good brosef without tarhyl's and cunning and some of you guys act like it's a big deal to change a wep graphic lol not like it's game breaking and at the risk of sounding like a ass cause i don't really care anymore does it even effect you?

No, but with this client you are very limited on weapon models, and those awesome models we do have should be saved for weapons that are worth while imo.

I dont really care either way on this issue, but unless the weapon graphic really just doesn't make sense... I think we should just deal with what the devs make. Its an aesthetic complaint. Maybe some people like the look, maybe some dont, but anyone can like/dislike any graphic and for devs to change things based on that seems like a bad precedent to set. "rat claw got changed because grizz didnt like it, so why cant you change x item because I dont like it!?!?!"
 
hell i'd take a reuse of demonshear graphic that's one of the best dagger graphic's imo and it's only tier 6 weapon, Hell even bladecatcher from Mielb has a better graphic then rat-claw is but it doesn't tie in with the "rat-Claw" name. so idk fuck it if a dev decides to change it fine if they don't fine. Im not going to make any more post on this just so more people can be like it's not worth it, just remember IT"S A GAME so what if they reuse models big woop it's bound to happen anyway.

It's a simple request on the suggestion's and REQUEST forum. It's up to the dev's to decide wether or not it happens.

Wood elf and half-elf are my mains. My half-elf looks absolutely hideous. Never understood their shoes [/gay]
 
Rat-claw looks fine and 'd hate to see it get changed to some lame anime graphic like demonshear.

Also half elves are pretty much the coolest looking race for anything besides plain leather or chain.
 
A simple yes or no from a dev so this thread can be over with would be nice, no more trolling or shit talking or people it doesn't affect posting.

sorry for being an ass i've never been one to anybody until this thread but you know everyone has their moments

I saw a dev joke about how much of a waste of their time this would be (yes, this specific thread/request)

Is that sufficient evidence that devs making aesthetic changes isn't a high priority?
 
yes it is, idk why they just didn't go ahead and be like no as soon as they seen this post, simple as that i guess that would have took to much of their time aswell. And i know a little birdie told me about it.
 
There's really not that many weapon models in this game, not every weapon can be a giant glowing blue sword. The graphic fits the name of the weapon and it's the only appropriate graphic for a Rat's claw that is secondary usable.
