We need items

Often, when I inspect peoples stuff, I notice that most people under lvl 30 are using the base armor and weapons. There really arn't any good magical weapons for every class. On my SDK, I cant find a good 2hs weapon and all of my armor is just normal armor. I think that we need either a bunch of named mobs to drop stuff, or actual quests for gear. How long would it really take to make some weapons?
 
Level 30 to like 45 are tough levels I think. I also notice you dont really *need* good weapons until the higher levels. You won't believe what item my warrior used till level 59....quite sad, but, I didn't have any huge difficulties with lower end gear.

You can get cool items however if you save up and buy them from people. As for getting them yourself you won't get anything you'll find very uber I don't think until you get much higher levels.

Maybe a slight item increase for lower level would be good, but I think if you look around alot you'll find some cool.
 
There are a shitload of 30s items spread over the zones. The reasons people are underequipped is because they sit in Barrens and Neth for 15 levels.
 
well, Not saying that there are not, but knowing where to go is something I see a lot of in OOC and everyone ( ok not everyone ) just about all say go to neth/barrens. So what other good zones to hunt in are there?

I have been farming the heck out of CC to get a few Plat ahead so I can try buying a few upgradeable items.

Some of the other things to think about is server population and how many mid to lower end players there are. I am not sayig please do everything for us, but how about a shove in any direction. ( if you dont want us hunting in Neth, where would you sudgest to hunt in for mid lvl gear?)

Try Shrouded Isle. I know theres a haste cloak in there even. Good bracer and shoulders.

First ruins has tons of stuff thats magical. Even some nice 15/15 swords that are no rent and good for while your on.

Storm keep has some banded giant armor that isnt to bad either.

Try the new hidden temple of Yarlith, I belive it starts between 20 and 30 to level there.

Lots and lots and lots of stuff.

Even the badlands has stuff in it!
 
see, i am a 40 chanter and I have done the whole first ruins and shrouded isle scene and all i have is a bracelet with some nice agi from shrouded and some shoulder peice from first ruins, where are all these items you guys talk about please lol?
 
Theres two swords that use to drop one was 15 / 20 one was 15 / 15 Just more rare then the other.

Also seriously check out Hidden temple of Yarlith its got some good all around items I noticed. If you get a good group to go into FR theres alot more items then what your thinking. just have to crawl some.

I know sometimes it seems hard to find stuff but wizzy isnt joking when he says theres a huge plethura of stuff sitting out there you just have to look for it. My rogue at level 30 had tons and tons of stuff. I sometimes go back places and pick things up just to sell cause im bored.

Elaric, I'm very interested in Yarlith, any tips on how a 24 cleric can get ahold of some of this gear you speak of? Or will I need to lget to 30 before I can really get the kills I need to?

My problem at the moment is all the zones I try to explore are still a little above my level or way to far below it so that the equipment I do find there does me no good.

I'm all for exploring equipment groups but I think I'm the only one...no one mid/low level wants to do that and the ones that do are DC or solo classes.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. :10bux: :10bux:

Haste cloak? Ooh. Do you happen to know what it drops off of?

I hate to just ask as I'd rather find it myself, but I've already spent a while running around there, clearing most of the field around the house and the upper floors. Hopefully it's not in the basement, as I don't know anyone that can lockpick. -_-*

I love situations like this. The haste cloak drops (dun dun dun!) -- In the basement. Tough luck. :lol:
 
You know what that means Mr Aldaris?! We shall venture forth into the basement! My shaman is prepared for the journey.... tally ho! (Good god I hate unrest) :)


To get back on topic with the thread: even if you can't get any items off of mobs, you should be able to make a decent amount of money to buy things from other players. As a shaman, I find it somewhat difficult to solo (almost 34 though, then it's much easier), but I get by with money and gear. Heck, if yer really desperate and have terrible gear, go to blackburrow and destroy gnolls... they drop up to a few gold and pieces of leather armor... the chest sells for over 1pp. Yes, it's trash andridiculously easy, but when some folk are selling some decent gear for 20pp a pop it's not that bad.

Oh God, I just admitted I farm blackburrow for plat...
 
About the haste cloak in basement in Shrouded Isle, first of all, you now adays need a rogue to picklock the door to even get down into the basement, secondly the cloak is a extremly rare drop, so don't get your hopes up too high, it's really rare, and I would agree that it would be better to farm for plat and then buy equipment that is sold (atleast for a haste item), that cloak is allso very low haste.
 
Off of what Fjodor said about Shrouded Isle.

The cloak is sorta rare. The thing is though it looks like a cloth cloak after i found that out and started looking at the cloaks that dropped it diddnt seem quite as umm rare. The cloak is 7% haste so its nothing huge.

xth best tip is a group. That normaly helps. If you would like I can assist you in getting that and getting in there. I can port 3 min away from The temple. You will seriously need a well rounded group to go though it. I power leveled Naddiana "My wife" in there untill 45ish.

I suggest a Rogue / cleric / warrior / ench at least. It would be good to have some nuking cappibilities too. Also the exp bonus in this zone is pretty good.

Currently if theres some lower level item you want too let me know. Ill be more then willing to help ya guys get to where you want to be. If theres a zone you would like to knwo what drops in it I normaly have a pretty good idea of whats in them too!
