Was heal agro tweaked recently?

I was in Labyrinth tonight and everytime i healed my warrior with ym druid the mob ran and started beating the druid. Even with /s 4 on it would take 2 or 3 taunts to pull it off the druid. I don't have the best weapons but they are decent for agro. This is just the first time I have had the druids superior heals generate so much agro on mobs. Previously I could get he mob down to 75% or so then heal moderately and never lose agro. Maybe its just something different about Sorc's Labyrinth from paw or Meilech B.

I noticed when using chloroblast I was generating a good amount of aggro (one chloroblast near beginning and mob was all over me). I had to use superior heal to patch heal and it casts too darn slow ><.

Healing aggro was definitely changed, intentionally or not I'm not sure.If I ever have to heal early the mob is on me immediately causing me to have to heal myself which glues the mob to me indefinitely unless it's rooted or taunt/aggro spells finally kick in, which seems to take a long time now.I'm also getting sit aggro more often whereas before it basically never happened. My DA spell has definitely gotten more of a workout since the change :p

If this was intentional the way it was before seemed fine to me and the "if mob is not melee engaged try to interrupt casts" change livened things up enough in my opinion. It's not often a healer has the luxury to decide whether to land a heal or not and so has a lot less control over their aggro. This change could also hurt warriors who have always had a much harder time keeping aggro compared to Pal/SK especially in the lower levels.

Is it going to break the game? No
Was it unbalanced before? Perhaps it needed a tweak but not quite this far
Does this change make the game more fun as a healer? Definitely not

Just my opinion tho, it would be nice to hear what other healers think and their own experiences.

I box a 58 SK and a 60 druid, and when i have nobody else grouped with me, i dont use my debuffs or taps for aggro i just pull with the leech over time and wail away, at the same time on inc i stack 2 dots with my druid and commence heals. Druid never once got aggro over my SK. Even without me using my aggro spells or taunting. Maybe its something with clerics but my 5500hp heal (words of completion) doesnt get me aggro. Even the few times i've had to use it right off the pull.

I have noticed a definite and serious change to healing aggro for my mage. Previously, if I happend to draw aggro from two or more foes, I could rely on frantically healing my pet to keep it alive while I timed when to nuke the extra(s) down.

Now however, getting even a single add is death, because the first time I have to heal my pet the add immediately breaks off and comes charging for me, despite being down 10-20% from the pet's damage shield. With the way pet AI is, it's almost impossible to get it to switch targets and have it take the aggro back. I can spam "back off" and "attack" as much as I like, my pet will hesitate for a fraction of a second and then go back to attacking its original target (I can only assume it's AI is similar to a mob's and it's being instantly aggroed back on its attacker).

The net effect is that I can't solo anything but singles. If this is the intended effect, so be it, but I suspect it's not.

i pulled aggro off coltaine with a single heal... so either heals were tweaked or the aggro gloves were. or both...

I'd have to agree that something seems to have been changed. Granted I don't typically play a healing class, but I logged my warrior and my hubby's druid in today to continue camping the Queen bee in Shadowdale, and if I got any adds I was toast if I had to heal (well my hubbies druid was -- sorry honey ... you have xp debt now *waves* *blushes*). Now, I've used the pocket dro0d before when my warrior was younger, in Yarlith, and never had this problem. In both instances the mobs were green to the druid (if that is even helpful info).

It still surprises me when the devs actually check into player concerns and report when there's a problem and that they'll fix it. I'm probably going to have to become a subscriber it this sort of thing keeps up.

Stick around, you'll get used to it. :)

Yes, heal aggro seems to be broken. We will fix it ASAP.

This a wait for the next patch kinda thing? Not asking for an ETA just curious if its a patch fix or a hotfix.
