I would like to request something different than the 2 hour lock out timer when you die during a war. This punishes people who take a chance (like main tanks, mezers, pullers... ect.). It would be very easy to sit in the back of the raid and cast a nuke only after mobs are half dead just to be sure you won't get agro and die.

I do understand the desire to make sure that people don't zerg the war but I would like to see people get back to the war and have a chance at loot from minor named.

Would it be possible to shorten the war zone lock out to 15 or 20 minutes? That way if someone dies during a minor named they could get back into the zone in time to roll on its loot?
 
Agreeing with this, especially given the events of today's War. For some reason, the corpses WERE decaying so we had to distribute loot from mini-nameds as soon as it dropped. Anyone who died was completely SOL.

And even if the corpses didn't rot, most of us had been to enough Wars to know that if you fail to take a zone, you'll lose out on that loot. So people try to random for it the second it drops.

I don't know what could be down instead of locking people out of the zone. Maybe if you die during a war, Death Fatigue lasts 5 times as long? It'd keep people from doing anything for quite awhile, but at least they could get to the loot if it dropped.

Thats the best idea I have heard yet!!

Instead of monkeying with death fatigue, just add a new one that works like death fatigue (same effect just much much longer duration 15 minutes?) Call it "war Fatigue"

Lets people get back into the war zones quicker and for grabing there loot. But still stops body zergs from happening.
 
call it "post traumatic stress disorder" imo

we could have psychiatrists sitting beside healers in citys
 
To let people have the opportunity of getting loot, but not participating, they could make it so you can no longer attack mobs in a zone you have died in until the war script ends (Your target is protected, etc.). The longer duration fatigue seems like a good idea too.
 
A two-hour lockout is pretty excessive. I should think 30-45 minutes would get the job done plenty well enough.
