Wanted: The Voice of an 80 Year Old Woman Who Smokes (And an Artist)

As part of the 2.5 upgrade, we have the ability to create a slideshow for new players who enter the Dream (which we are recreating).

Basically, I need someone to voice Lady Shaina. It has to be old sounding, gravelly (she is a lich afterall) and tired but also wise and motherly.

If you think you can do a convincing voice, shoot me a PM. I am offering 850 fame, and full credit, to whoever is chosen.

Additionally, I am looking for a fantasy artist to draw 4-5 scenes from Dalaya's past for the slideshow. For this I am offering 1250 fame to the character of their choice as well as full credit in the game credits. They will have to look relatively professional, but artistic style is not set in stone. Think along these lines.

If you are able to do either, or know someone who is, let me know. If you know of someone who is not a player of the game, we might also be able to pay a modest amount in lieu of the fame. Of course, if you find someone we hire, there is definitely a fame finding fee.
 
couldnt we just use a normal voice and alter it.... just sayin =p

also i would to use zoroth or nuchre as the base voice... cause they have cool accents
 
I may know of a woman she's 50+ and she smokes but she might not sound quite old enough and she may be lacking the power in her voice a lich would have but idk send me a pm or something if u want her for tryouts
 
kerolynne would be best, i have heard her in very different tones and think this would be a great chance for her to display her talents. No troll intended just think your the best for this
 
I don't know why I held off from saying it until now, but why don't you have a beautiful, motherly voice for her instead of a ragged one? Because when you look at her and hear her voice it would be very decieving, but remind you that she used to be a beautiful maiden. Nothing high pitched though.

Voice alteration from an enchantress isn't far fetched.

EDIT: Only her appearance is war torn. Her magic is not, thus her projection and voice can be changed.

DUDE! I can totally do Donald Duck. Years of practice since I was a kid. I've heard a couple good Mickey's out there. Grats on that...I could never get Mickey down for some reason.
 
Good luck with that, we've been having a hell of a time finding girls willing to do bits on the show, finding a specific type of voice has got to be a nightmare. You are probably better off getting just a female voice and editing it until you get something that will work. Shifting the pitch in audacity might help, or you could use a voice modulator.
