in another post, Wiz said that wanelo is far from perfect in calculating some things. Is it possible to make these calculations more accurate?

I believe that's already on the list, Kas.
 
Perhaps you could show race, # of AA's total, keys owned and allow a #save command to save 2 'profiles' that could be viewed on wanelo.

#save would remain as it is, saves current char values/locs/whatever to the standard mysql dbs.

#save2 or something would save to some sort of wanelo profile table.

Purpose in this far fetched last idea would be to allow for viewing of a standard set of gear vs a resist set, or similar.

So if you add in visible resist values like you said you might, that alternate set would see a fully resist geared char, like on the old magelo site.

I'm tired, I hope I expressed my thoughts well enough. Time for a nap ;)

I think (if it's possible to code) that once a item has been worn on a player, it should be viewable even if the player isn't useing it anymore.
Now when you look at a item link is like /?player=<nr>?item=<nr> or something like that, make it so you can link a item by just ?item=<nr> instead of player and item. That way you can make links to items that you have in a backpack or in bank. BUT, the item must have been found before you can do it, so you just don't go through item numbers in links just to check what items that could be found.
And, make it so you can link food, drink, bag items ?
Would be nice if you wanted to post items for sale like new brewing stuff or alchemy stuff or whatever, now as they can't be word they can't be shown.

Denied. Blocking item access in wanelo isn't just about items that haven't been found, and a slipup by a GM could easily invalidate the entire thing.

We know the formulas the server uses, but even these are off from the client values by small amounts. The only people that really 'know' the formulas are at SOE. People such as a_Guest have been able to come up with formulas that work in most cases with good accuracy.. but it is never dead on. So we tirelessly trud on.
